They’re a new “as seen on TV” item to warm your feet on those cold winter evenings.  Or to soothe your dogs after a long hard day on the job.  Sounds good.  Right?

WRONG!

Any idea what the heat source is?  I thought maybe they were battery operated.  No, sir.  It’s your MICROWAVE!

Now, I ask…how many people are you acquainted with that you can say you would be willing to eat or drink something that was heated up in their microwave after that same microwave was used to heat up these little booties that their feet have been in.

I’ve seen scaley, cracked heels.  I’ve seen thick, flakey, yellow toe-nails.  I’ve seen people trapse through anything barefoot.  And I’ll admit…my own feet do a good job at sweating.

You’re telling me, that someone I might visit next week, might serve me something they heated in their microwave that was used the night before… to heat up their stinkin’ booties.

If ever there was a reason to make a stand that one does not like anything that comes out of a microwave… you now have one.

Visting?  If you brought your booties, don’t touch my microwave!  In fact, don’t even go in my kitchen – there’s no telling what you might do if you will eat something that came out of the same appliance as your slippers.
